Where Earth Meets
Eternity.

"Every piece begins as silence and raw material. What emerges is not made — it is revealed."

The Midhusa Fine Art division is a living tradition — rooted in the ancient craft knowledge of Gujarat and Rajasthan, elevated through contemporary vision, and executed by a collective of master artisans with decades of combined expertise.

We create five distinct forms of wall art and sculpture: Lippan mud-mirror work, modern pulley canvas paintings, metal mesh plaster art, wall sculptures, and intricate wall putty craft. Each form has its own vocabulary, its own material truth, and its own place in the world — in corporate lobbies, luxury residences, international galleries, and hotel installations.

Lippan Mud
& Mirror Work.

Lippan is an ancient folk art tradition from the Kutch region of Gujarat — a meticulous craft of mud-relief and mirror embellishment that transforms a flat wall into a living landscape of light and shadow. Practiced for centuries by the Rabari community, Midhusa's artisans preserve this tradition while scaling it for contemporary luxury spaces.

  • Hand-mixed clay and camel dung base — the original Kutch formula
  • Individually placed mirror fragments from 0.5cm to 8cm
  • Natural mineral pigments and gold leaf detailing
  • Pieces from 40×40cm to full architectural wall treatments
  • Indoor, humidity-resistant, and outdoor-sealed finishes available

Modern Pulley
Canvas.

Modern Pulley Canvas is a contemporary large-format painting technique combining professional artist-grade stretched linen or cotton canvas with bold, textured applications of acrylic, oil, and mixed media. The "pulley" technique refers to a unique layering method that creates depth through controlled tension and release of paint across the surface.

  • Artist-grade Belgian linen and cotton duck canvas
  • Acrylic, oil, encaustic wax, and mixed media combinations
  • Gold leaf, silver leaf, and metallic pigment accents
  • Standard sizes from 60×80cm to monumental 400×200cm panels
  • Museum-quality framing and UV-protective varnish

Metal Mesh
Plaster Art.

Metal Mesh Plaster Art is a distinctive contemporary technique that combines architectural precision with artistic expression. A structural steel or aluminium mesh is formed into three-dimensional relief, then coated with Venetian or lime plaster to create pieces that blur the line between art and architecture — perfect for corporate lobbies and luxury hospitality spaces.

  • Galvanised steel, stainless, copper, and aluminium mesh bases
  • Venetian, Marmorino, and lime plaster finishes
  • Oxide, patina, and metallic surface treatments
  • Wall-mounted panels and free-standing sculptural screens
  • Fire-rated and humidity-resistant options for commercial use

Wall
Sculpture.

Our wall sculptures are three-dimensional art works designed specifically for wall installation — occupying the space between painting and freestanding sculpture. Executed in bronze resin, stone dust, ceramic, wood, and mixed media composites, these pieces carry an architectural weight and presence that transforms any space they inhabit.

  • Bronze resin, cold-cast metal, and stone dust compositions
  • Fired ceramic and hand-glazed surface treatments
  • Teak, reclaimed hardwood, and copper inlay combinations
  • Custom scale from statement panels to room-defining installations
  • Indoor and outdoor-grade weather-sealed finishes

Wall Putty
Craft.

Wall Putty Craft elevates the humble wall surface into a canvas of texture, depth, and artistry. From geometric 3D relief carvings to flowing organic patterns, Venetian marble-effect finishes to intricate Jali-inspired perforated panels — our putty craft practitioners transform walls into architectural art that defines the entire room it inhabits.

  • Acrylic, lime, and polymer putty compounds
  • 3D geometric, organic relief, and carved patterns
  • Venetian marble, suede, and sand-finish textures
  • Mineral pigment and metallic finish options
  • Full wall, feature wall, and panel applications
